In honor of Throwback Thursday, my friend Lisa reminded me this morning of a show that we used to LOVE to watch…How I Met Your Mother.
Although the show made us laugh, we were disgusted with the ending. 8 years of watching a show only to have him be with the woman from the very first episode?? And killing off the mother (a very talented Cristin Milloti who I happen to think is amazing) in a season?? COME ON!
For years afterward we called HIMYM “The Show We Do Not Speak Of”.
But time heals wounds, and you just can’t help but laugh at Marshall waxing poetic over a burger or pizza. And Barney and all his antics still crack us up to this day.
So in honor of TT as well as the Oscars this past weekend…a reminder of one of my favorite, long-running gags of the series…
